瑜伽和太极在本质上有着许多相同之处，两者结合研习，就是以太极的宜动宜静、刚柔相济的动作及精髓，并将瑜伽之动作、呼吸、意识三者相结合。在练习瑜极时将通过各种动作以运气功法来达到调节体内脏腑、经络气血阴阳平衡、延衰驻颜、轻身健体、增添气韵、美化形体的一种强身健体方法。
它的最大特点是阴阳协调。中医认为：人的形体肢节、肌肤毛发、五官爪甲等无不与机体内脏腑经络气血紧密联系，只有脏腑经络气血功能健旺，元气充沛，才能润发美颜即所谓&#8220;有诸内者必行诸外&#8220;。
练习的基本原理是调身、调息、调心并强调 “意气合一”。
瑜极既可通过脑和神经系统，也可直接作用于各组织系统、器官乃至细胞；瑜极的独到之处就是意念的引导，由于意念具有正向信息作用，从而使整体功能趋向于高度协调、高度序化、高度激发的状态。
瑜极的强身功效卓著，全身强健，容貌自然更加健美亮泽。气功可发挥良好的整体运行效果，使人体似日月、似自然、动静适合，运化自然，去病强身。
　　
通过练习瑜极可以达到以下几方面目的： 　　 

有效地消除疲劳，恢复体力，使练功人保持旺盛的精力

现代社会生活节奏越来越快，带给人们的心理紧张也越来越大。作为紧张的一个常见的反应就是疲劳。处于疲劳状态的人往往精神倦怠，皮肉松弛，而瑜极锻炼可以有效地缓解和恢复神经系统的过度兴奋，迅速地消除机体的疲劳，使人干起事来充满活力。 

培育真气，抵抗早衰

中医认为人的五官、肌肤等是五脏之气外在的反映和表现。真气充足，五脏气血旺盛，五脏的外在表现也必然充满了生机和润泽，呈现一种健康的美。例如，中医理论中有 “肝开窍于目” 的说法，肝气充足则目光炯炯有神，通过锻炼，真气越来越充足，抗病能力增强，就可免去因患多种疾病而引起的过早衰老，使青春常驻。 　　 

可改善微循环，使面部红润、皮肤润泽

瑜极锻炼可以改善全身的微循环功能，使更多的毛细血管开放，血管内血液流速加快，从而促进组织的新陈代谢，使皮肤养分增加，皮肤组织得到改善，变得细腻润泽。另外，还可通过调节内分泌系统的功能来达到防止皮肤衰老和失去弹性，美化皮肤的作用。　　

可以美化人的气质，陶冶人的性情

真正的美是一种面部与全身、形体与精神的和谐统一。其中人的精神面貌、气质、风度等更是形之于外的内在表现。瑜极锻炼中的&#8220;调心&#8220;手法不仅含有教人意守入静的内容，而且也具有陶冶性情的重要作用。平时注意修身养性，可使练功人的心身与外部环境达到一种平衡，心情舒畅，心胸开阔。

孕妇瑜伽是不是和一般瑜伽相同？ 
不是，孕妇瑜伽与一般的瑜伽截然不同。孕妇瑜伽是特别为孕妇所精心编排的课程。课程内容也会依据孕期和个人身体状况而有所不同。 孕妇瑜伽的动作讲究轻柔、舒适、简单。每一个的瑜伽动作也将配合呼吸，让您在练习瑜伽动作时能好好享受瑜伽带来的喜悦与宁静并用心去联系您和宝宝之间的互动。

一般来说在初期怀孕第1 ~ 2 个月都不适合练习孕妇瑜伽。怀孕从第3 个月开始适合练习直到怀孕第 8 个月。对于在第3 个月还面对身体不适的孕妇在练习前务必向医生或是瑜伽指导师咨询。

<p>The real purpose of yogic training is not only to perfect the every asana and looking for challenging one to tackle. The yogic attitude is to share the most precious thing to others, to find the true harmony and happiness.</p>
<p>Love is shared without any boundary.Our yoga instructors devoted their love unconditionally to the children at India by giving Karma Yoga. Happiness is the greatest wealth, wealth is not measure by possession of monetary. Feel the love spark in their eyes, feel the love that our instructors shine on them, feel gratitude &amp; appreciate for whoever you are with whatever you have, feel the world with love &amp; happiness, be the most prosperous person in the world.</p>
