ARRIVING AT STUDIO

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your class start to allow yourself ample time to sign-in and prepare for class. All classes start on time.

Most instructors allow a 10 minutes grace period, as long as they are still talking and have not begun movement. Once centering or warm-ups begin, you will not be allowed to enter the class.

This is to ensure that the class is not interrupted as a mark of respect to both instructors and members as well as for safety purposes.

IN THE STUDIO

1. No shoes - Please place your shoes in the shoe racks at the studio door or you can put your shoes in your lockers as well.

2. Indoor sport shoes - You must bring along your clean and/or indoor sport shoes to change before class, failure to do so may result in being refused entry to class.

3. Remain Silent & Peace – The studio is a silent room. Please refrain from talking loudly while in the studio corridors.

4. No photography, video or movie shots - You must not take any photography, video or movie shots in any Studio (including by use of a camera on a mobile phone or PDA).

5. No mobile phones – Please switch your mobile phones off or to vibrate mode. Do refrain from taking your phone into the practice rooms.

6. As a courtesy to other members, please roll and put the yoga mat in yoga mat rack after use.

SIGN-IN (PHYSICAL MEMBERSHIP)

You must present your physical membership and mark your attendance before entering the classroom and/ or class starts. Failure to do so, RM 40.00 will be charged as Drop In Session.

On your first visit you will be required to fill out a new member registration form. Please be sure to sign a waiver and indicate any physical injuries or special health conditions you may have (applicable for both members & drop in guests).

SIGN-IN (DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP - FOR PEACE SUTERA UTAMA MEMBERS ONLY) 

You must check in at the front desk before entering the studio for class even if you have reserved a space in advance. Please scan your ‘QR CODE’ on the IPAD at the reception counter. Failure to do so, RM 40.00 will be charged as Drop In Session.

PREPARATION BEFORE CLASS

1. Dress comfy - Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. Sport bra for ladies is most comfortable

2. Bare feet for Yoga or Pilates; To bring your own face towel and water bottle 

3. Bring your mat - We highly recommend that regular members own their own mat or yoga towel, but we do not have space for mat/ yoga towel storage at our studio. We will also provide everything you will need for your practice: mats, props, and other equipment.

4. Come clean and unscented - With all the deep breathing, your neighbors will appreciate if you skip the perfume and essential oils. Do cleansing before the practice; To avoid wearing watch, necklace and/ or bracelet.

5. Allow for digestion - Workout is best enjoyed on an empty or light stomach, depending on your health condition and types of classes, so eat lightly 2-3 hours before your class.

6. Keep Hydrated - Make sure to keep hydrated both before and after your class.

7. Low blood pressure and/ or low blood sugar - To take 2 teaspoons of pure honey if you have low blood pressure.

8. Talk to instructor - If you have any physical conditions that requires modification of postures, tell your instructor, e.g. unregulated high blood pressure, recent surgery, herniated discs, osteoporosis, epilepsy, pregnancy. If you prefer not to be adjusted by the instructor, let that be known as well.

AFTER CLASS

1. Mats, props, and other equipment - Return and put your mats, props, and other equipment neatly. Please refold and/ or roll your yoga mat to match the pile.

2. Take your time - After a deep practice, it can be jarring and potentially hazardous - to jump right in your car and drive away.  Make sure your feet are touching the floor when you walk out the door!

3. Hydrate - Drinking water helps your body flush out toxins released by all the stretching, twisting and fascia.  

AERIAL YOGA PREPARATION 

1. Please wear a sleeved shirt that covers the armpits, pants that cover your knees and also bring along a pair of socks.

2. Wear form fitting clothing. Please do not wear baggy clothing as they can snag and catch on the sling’s fabric causing accidents.

3. Ensure that your clothing is "zipper free" and remove all jewelry, watches and hair clips. These items can snag and damage the silk hammocks. 

AERIAL YOGA PRECAUTION

1. Please consult your medical professional before beginning any new exercise form, If you have any of the following conditions: pregnancy, glaucoma, recent surgery (especially –shoulders, eyes, back, hips, hands or wrists), irregular heart function or very high or very low blood pressure monitored by medications, easily onset vertigo, bone weakness, recent head injury, cerebral sclerosis, easy onset of fainting, recent stroke, artificial hips, or botox injections within 24 hours prior to class.

2. Talk to instructor - If you have any physical conditions that requires modification of postures, tell your instructor, e.g. unregulated high blood pressure, recent surgery, herniated discs, osteoporosis, epilepsy, pregnancy. If you prefer not to be adjusted by the instructor, let that be known as well.

SELECTION OF PEACE GROUP CLASSES 

1. For those who has not practice any form of exercise/ yoga shall select the classes of Relaxed (R) & Therapy (T) ONLY

2. For those who has regularly practice any form of exercise/ yoga shall select the classes of Dynamic (D) & Power (P)

3. For the classes of Power (P), you must have at least 2years practicing in any form of exercise/ yoga

4. Consult Course Consultant/ Instructor before participate in any form of physical exercise or yoga which is offered by PEACE

5. The instructions and advice by Course Consultant are not intended as a substitute for medical counseling

 

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Members are solely responsible for their own belongings whilst visiting Peace. Peace accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property.
