Myofascia and muscle tightness is closely related to the connective tissue. In the myofascial release yoga class, we’ll use the body weight with foam roller, massage balls and other props to release overly tense muscle and myofascia. Through working with the breath, at a slow pace, focusing on building up a deliberate wave of pressure to produce a deep local stretch, we also awaken our awareness. Through this release method, we’ll increase muscular flexibility, circulation and openness. With the asana practices before and after the release, we’ll experience the complimentary benefits of the asana practice and myofascia release.yle.
